COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING - JULY 28, 1980
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace was called to
order at 12354 Mt. Vernon, First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace, Grand Terrace,
California, at 4:45 p.m. on July 28, 1980.
PRESENT: Thomas A. Tillinghast, Mayor
Hugh J. Grant, Mayor Pro Tempore
Tony Petta, Councilman
Roy W. Nix, Councilman
Jim Rigley, Councilman
Ed Clark, for City Manager Seth Armstead
Ivan Hopkins, City Attorney
Joe Kicak, City Engineer
Myrna Lindahl, City Clerk
ABSENT: Seth Armstead, City Manager
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Council adjourned to an Executive Session at 4:46 p.m. to discuss
litigation, with Acting City Manager Ed Clark, City Attorney Ivan
Hopkins, Attorney Jim Craig, Clayson, Rothrock & Mann, and City
Engineer Joe Kicak in attendance.
RECONVENE
Council reconvened the special meeting at 5:35 p.m., with all
members present. Mayor Tillinghast announced the Executive
Session concerned matters of litigation, with no action being
taken during the Executive Session.
ADJOURN
The Special Meeting of the City Council adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
The next regular meeting will be held August 7, 1980. A Public
Work Session will be held at 4:00 p.m., followed by the regular
meeting at 6:00 p.m.
