COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING - SEPTEMBER 22, 1980
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace was called to
order at 22795 Barton Road, City Hall, Grand Terrace, California, at 5:31 p.m.
on September 22, 1980.
PRESENT: Thomas A. Tillinghast, Mayor
Hugh J. Grant, Mayor Pro Tempore
Tony Petta, Councilman
Roy W. Nix, Councilman
Ed Clark, for City Manager Seth Armstead
Jim Craig, Clayson, Rothrock & Mann
Joe Kicak, City Engineer
Myrna Lindahl City Clerk
ABSENT: Jim Rigley, Councilman (Consent Form on file in City Clerk's Office)
Seth Armstead, City Manager
Invocation was given by Councilman Nix, followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance, led by Attorney Jim Craig.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Council adjourned to an Executive Session at 5:32 p.m. to discuss
litigation, with Acting City Manager Ed Clark, Attorney Jim Craig,
and City Engineer Joe Kicak in attendance.
RECONVENE
Council reconvened the special meeting at 8:13 p.m., with all members
present, except Councilman Rigley. Mayor Tillinghast announced the
purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss litigation, and
arrived at the following decision, based upon the proposed agreement
submitted to Council for consideration: Council agreed with the
basic intent of the settlement offer, with minor modifications,
and are prepared to submit this to the City of Colton for their
consideration. '

The Special Meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:14 p.m.
An Adjourned Regular Meeting will be held September 25, 1980,
at the First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace, 12354 Mt. Vernon,
Grand Terrace, at 6:00 p.m.
