As-you maybe aware,the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace approved an
Agreement for the 2006 Summer Swim Program between the City of Grand
Terrace and the Riverside YMCA. Enclosed are two copies of said agreement.

Terms of Agreement for a Siimmer Swim Program 2006

Grand Terrace,CA
Arrangement: The Riverside YMCA will provide to the City of Grand Terrace,
for a fee, 2 Water Safety Instructors and 1 Lifeguard, for summer
swimming lessons'. Swim Lessons to be held Monday through
Thursday for 8 consecutive weeks for 2.5 hours per day, per
instructor. Open Swim weekends only, 11 AM to 3PM, 4.5 hours
per day. One guard unless 2 d guard needed due to quantity of
swimmers. (Fee to be adjusted.)
Effective Date: June 19 through August 10,2006 swim lessons. Open swim to
begin June 24d'each weekend until August 6th.
Fees: It is agreed that the City of Grand Terrace will pay the Riverside
YMCA an amount of$1,160.00 for each 2 week session. Four
(4)sessions, (8)weeks totaling$4640.00. An amount of$162.00
per 2 day weekend for 7 weeks,totaling$1,134.00. See attached
schedule.
Insurance: The Riverside YMCA will provide proof of liability insurance to The
City of Grand Terrace. The City of Grand Terrace Will provide proof of
liability insurance to the Riverside,YMCA.
Miscellaneous: 1. The City of Grand Terrace will be responsible for lesson
registrations. -
2. The City/School Representative will open the pool area for
access for swim lessons and close the pool for safety.
3. The City will provide the enrollment sheets by fax to the
YMCA for the Inristr�uors in advance of lessons start date.

Coverage Period: From 6/19/06 to 8/10/06, during specified time of use
The City of Grand Terrace (Member)along with other California public agencies,is a member
of the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (California JPIA), and participates in the
following self-insurance and commercial insurance program that is administered by the
California JPIA for its members:
General Liability Program, Including Automobile Liability
Coverage Limit: $1,000,000 per occurrence
Annual Aggregate Limit: $1,000,000
The California JPIA will endeavor to provide at least thirty (30) days notice of any change in
the foregoing information.
