-_RE_IMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COLTON JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
(CJUSD) AND THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE
Whereas the.Colton Joint Unified School District and the City of Grand Terrace agree that a safety
issue_exigts at the Terrace Hills Middle School/Rollin's City Park joint use facility; and
Whereas this safety issue includes the unobstructed access by the .public to the Terrace Hills Middle
School campus by way of entering Rollins City Park; and
Whereas unobstructed access jeopardizes the safety and well being of students and staff on the
Terrace Hills Middle School campus;
It is hereby agreed to by the administration of the Colton Joint Unified School District and the City of
Grand Terrace that a permanent fence structure be installed at the Terrace Hills Middle
School/Rollins City Park joint use facility on the east side of the track area.
It is also agreed that the City of Grand Terrace will contract with a fencing contractor to install a 6'
high wrought iron fence on the Rollins Park property, APN 1178-091-01. This fence will extend from
the north end of the Rollins Park property and connect to existing 6' high chain-link fence on the south
end of the property. Gates will be installed at the access ramp to allow usage of the Terrace Hills
Middle School soccer field by the public after school hours. The existing 4' high wrought iron fence at
the top of the access ramps will be extended in height to 6'. The District will reimburse the City of
Grand Terrace $13,000 as their negotiated share of the project cost.
In consideration of the safety issue present, this reimbursement agreement confirms the terms and
conditions upon which the Colton Joint Unified School District agrees to participate with the City of
Grand Terrace to install a permanent fence structure at the Terrace Hills Middle School/Rollins City
Park joint use facility.
By signing below, the Colton Joint Unified School and the City of Grand Terrace have agreed to the
above terms and conditions contained in this reimbursement agreement.
