AGREEMENT Contract GTC#83-32-1 - G
This AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 26th day of January ,
1984, by and between the CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, hereinafter referred to as
"City", and the AZURE HILLS SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, hereinafter referred
to as "Church".
3 WHEREAS, the City and the Church entered into an Agreement on October 26,
198, in which the Church granted the City access for ingress and egress
purposes to City 's fire station for emergency vehicles and the City agreed to
certain improvements, and
WHEREAS, bids received on January_10, 1984,- for said improvements are "
considerably higher than estimated,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City and the Church mutually agree to amend Paragraphs
3 and 4 of the "Covenants" of the original Agreement (GTC83-32) as follows:
"3. Church's Share of Construction Costs. Church agrees to reimburse City
for the Church's share of the total cost of said improvements as shown
on the attached Exhibit "B", revised as of January 26, 1984, within
thirty (30) days after receipt of an itemized statement as presented
by the contractor constructing and installing said improvements, to
Church from City."
"4. Cost Over Estimate. City agrees that the costs of said improvements
shall not exceed the costs shown on the revised Exhibit "B" and the
summary sheet attached thereto."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement on the
date and year first above written.
