Mayor Bill HusseyOn February 1-3, 2023, Mayor Bill Hussey attended the League of California Cities’ New
Mayors and Council Members Academy which is designed for newly elected officials and
veterans wanting a refresher course in the introduction to the services of the League of
California Cities and offers a basic legal and practical framework in which city officials
operate and fosters relationships with fellow elected officials and taxpayer protections.
On February 9, 2023, Mayor Hussey attended a drug awareness program presentation
at the local middle school. He was disappointed that only three (3) parents showed up
however the presentation was very informative and provided tips on how to identify how
and where drugs may be hidden.
