1995-22 r r RESOLUTION NO. 95-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A MULTI- HAZARD PREPAREDNESS PLAN WHEREAS, -the California Government Code requires every California city, special district and county called upon to provide public assistance in the event of a disaster to prepare and adopt an Emergency Response Plan to address multiple disaster and emergency scenarios; and WHEREAS, all multi-hazard plans are required to apply to the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) to ensure an organized and standard approach to disaster response; and WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace has prepared,submitted for-public review and is adopting a Multi-Hazard Preparedness Plan to ensure an effective response capability in the event of both natural and man-made disasters; and WHEREAS, the Multi-Hazard Preparedness Plan will serve as the foundation and main resource document for the City's disaster preparedness, preparation of standard operating procedures, public education and staff training; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the City of Grand Terrace adopts a Multi-Hazard Preparedness Plan.
