Jeff AllenCouncil Member Jeff Allen commented on the following:
• On April 27th, he attended the grand opening of Wingstop.
• He recently attended the Interagency Council on Homelessness which focuses
on:
o Funding for Non-Profits
o Transparency
o Community and the need to improve effective communication.
• He also attended the Central Regional Steering Committee which is more
localized and believes that this committee would be more appropriate for the City
Council to participate. He will report back to the Council with his recommendation
after attendance at the Committee’s next few meetings.
• Council Member Allen learned about InnROADS Program which directly offers
assistance to individuals who are at risk of homelessness, chronically homeless,
or are homeless and living with a serious mental illness, including substance use.
