1998-08 RESOLUTION NO. 98-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
PROGRAMMING OF UN-PROGRAMMED COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $69,500 FOR THE 1998-99 PROGRAM YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace is a participant in the County of San Bernardino
Community Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City's allocation for 1998-99 is $37,000; and
WHEREAS, the City has on account "Un-Programmed Funds" which are eligible for
allocation into the 1998-99 Program Year; and
WHEREAS, it is the City's desire to fund four (4) projects totaling $106,500 which are
eligible for funding, exceeding the current years allocation by $69,500; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that in the interest of the City to proceed with the
programming of$69,500 for these projects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council requests that the County of San Bernardino Department of
Economic and Community Development proceed with the programming of these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING:
1. Programming of$69,500 in Un-Programmed CDBG Funds to the 1998-99 Program
Year.
