1994-01 RESOLUTION NO. 94-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN INTERIM BICYCLE MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace wishes to pursue street improvements and
bicycle lane funding; and
WHEREAS, funds for construction of bike trails will be again available in early
March, and the City needs to have a Bicycle Master Plan in place to be eligible for funding;
and
WHEREAS, a detailed evaluation and environmental review of this project will take
place in conjunction with the General Plan amendment process taking place this year; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of January 6, 1994,
recommended a conceptual approval of proposed master plan; and
WHEREAS,the City Council at its meeting of January 13, 1994, approved said master
plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Grand
Terrace, California, as follows:
1. That an Interim Bicycle Master Plan is adopted as shown in Attachment C.
2. Further evaluation and environmental review will take place in conjunction
with the General Plan amendment process for a final and permanent Bicycle
Plan to be adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace,
California at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of January, 1994.
