1990-18 RESOLUTION NO . 90-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE -CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ( SANBAG) AS
THE AGENCY TO DEVELOP A CONGESTION MANAGEMENT
PROGRAM-
WHEREAS, Government Code section 65089 requires the
development of a congestion management program which includes the
County and every city in the County ; and
WHEREAS, Government Code section 65089 provides for the
County Board of Supervisors and the city councils of a majority
of the cities representing a majority of the population in the
incorporated area of the County to designate by resolution the
County Transportation Commission or another public agency to
develop a congestion management plan and perform services and
functions as specified by law to be performed by such designated
agency ;
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Transportation
Commission ( SANBAG ) is the appropriate public agency in the
County of San Bernardino to be designated under the provision of
Government Code section 65089 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Grand Terrace hereby designates the San Bernardino
County Transportation Commission ( SANBAG) as the agency to
develop the congestion management program required by Government
Code section 65089 and to perform the services and functions
requird by law for such designated agency.
