A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, SUP-
PORTING THE PROPER EDUCATION AND TRAINING
IN - CPR -
WHEREAS , the City of Grand Terrace was incorpo-
rated on November 30, 1978 ; and
WHEREAS , the health., welfare and public safety of
the entire community also benefits every organization ; and
WHEREAS , today ' s students will be tomorrow ' s
business and community leaders ; and
WHEREAS, it is proven , knowledge of proper cardio
pulmonary resuscitation ( C. P . R . ) techniques have saved
lives ; and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the entire community
to have a large number of persons knowledgeable in C. P . R.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Grand Terrace , that they fully support
providing training in proper C. P. R. techniques to all High
School students ; and
=' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this
resolution shall be transmitted to all area legislators and
school boards .
