1985-01 RESOLUTION NO. 85-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, _ AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATION AND EXECUTION OF GRANT AWARD. WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace desires to undertake a certain project designated "City of Grand Terrace. Community Crime Resistance Project" to be funded in part from funds made available through State General Funds as authorized by Chapter 1291 of the 1982 Statutues for the California Community Crime Resistance Program administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace does hereby authorize the Mayor, on its behalf, to submit the attached application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and to execute, on behalf of the City of Grand Terrace, the Grant Award, attached hereto and -incorporated herein._ as Exhibit "A", for law enforcement purposes including any extensions or amendments thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said projects (including any extension or amendment thereof) under the Community Crime Resistance Program and the rules and regulations of LCJP and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body. ADOPTED this 24th day of January, 1985.
