2009-42 RESOLUTION NO. 2009-42 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS (CPNA) AND REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, (RTIP) WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in November of 2004 authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Bernardino Transportation Authority, to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino, and WHEREAS, revenues from the tax can only be used for transportation improvements and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditures Plan set forth in Ordinance No. 04-01 of the authority, and WHEREAS,the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five-Year Capital Project Needs Analysi;3. WHEREAS, SANBAG has requested the icity of Grand Terrace to identify projects to be included in the Southern California Association of Governments, RTIP, and the City CPNA projects meet the criteria for inclusion in the RTIP. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace, State of Californian, hereby adapts the Measure I Five-Year Capital Projects Needs Analysis, a copy of which is attach ed to this resolution, and also submit the list to SANBAG for inclusion in the RTIP.
