1979-27 RESOLUTION NO. 79-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF CERTAIN
TRENCH FAILURES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE that
the following trench failures, which were a direct result of the sewer
construction be repaired.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of San Bernardino be authorized
to engage the services of the contractor to repair these failures which are
listed below:
1 . Lateral trench failure - 22468 Desoto
2. Main line trench failure - Intersection of DeBerry and
Mt. Vernon
3. Lateral trench failure - 22139 Tanager Street
4. Lateral trench failure - 12731 Vivienda
5. Lateral trench failure - Pico & Dickens
6. Lateral trench failure - 12796 Royal
7. Main line trench failure - 21600 Walnut
8. Lateral trench failure - Walnut - east of Terrace Avenue
9. Main line trench failure - 11834 Burns
10. Lateral trench failure - 11947 Pascal
11 . Lateral trench failure - 22186 Carhart
12. Main line trench failure - Intersection Vivienda Court and
Vivienda Avenue
13. Main line trench failure - 22307 McClaren
14. Lateral trench failure - Vicinity of Westwood Drive and
Westwood Lane intersection
15. Lateral trench failure - Barton Road - east of Vivienda
16. Lateral trench failure - 22744 Palm Avenue
17. Sewer trench failures - 2 locations 100 ft. east of
Grand Terrace Road
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the payment to the contractor for the
repairs listed above be authorized and that said payment be made from
the Sewer Assessment District No. 1 funds.
