1979-39 RESOLUTION NO. 79- 39 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FINES FOR IN- FRACTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 23, THE LITTER CONTROL ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of Grand Terrace to set realistic penalties for infractions of the regulations established by Ordinance No. 23 ; and WHEREAS, the penalties are established to be consistent with the issuance of citations, the simplest possible enforcement system: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace hereby sets the amounts of fines as follows: SECTION VIOLATION .. AMOUNT l .a Littering by pedestrians and motorists. $10.00 l .b Dumpouts. 25.00 l .c Littering with handbills, leaflets, etc. 10.00 l .d Failure to provide litter receptacles. 10.00 2.a Transporting loose materials without adequate covering. 25.00 3.a Lack of containers 25.00 3.b Failure to clean loading/unloading areas. 25.00 '4.a Accumulations cf litter at construction/ demolition sites. 25.00 4.b Lack of containers at constructions/ demolition sites. 15.00 4.c Inability to show proof of proper dis- position of construction/demolition debris. 15.00 5.a Improper household solid waste containerization 10.00 SECTION VIOLATION AMOUNT 5.b Improper disposal of household bulk. $50,Q0 5.c Uncovered household containers. 10..OQ 5.d Failure to replace defective household containers 10.00 5.e Depositing household solid waste in sidewalk or other pedestrian litter receptacles. 25,OQ 6.a Improper commercial solid waste containerization. 1 10,00 6.b Uncovered commercial containers. 10,00 6.c Failure to replace defective commercial containers. 10..Q0 6.d Depositing commercial solid waste in sidewalk or other pedestrian receptacles. 25,00 8.a Litter on private premises.'• 25..00 8.b Litter on sidewalks and parkways. 25.00 8.c Sweeping into streets or rights-of way. 25.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each and every day during which a stationary violation(s) continues , except in cases which a given time has been allowed for corrective action to be taken, shall be a separate and distinct offense.
