1979-42 RESOLUTION NO. 79- 42
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE CERTIFYING AS TO THE REVIEW
OF THE FINAL EIR WITH RESPECT TO THE GRAND
TERRACE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND
MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO SAID
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Agency has
prepared a Redevelopment Plan for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment
Project and has filed its Report on the Redevelopment Plan with the City
Council of the City of Grand Terrace; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace has
approved and forwarded to the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Agency
its report and recommendation that the Redevelopment Plan for the Grand
Terrace Community Redevelopment Project is in conformance with the General
Plan of the City of Grand Terrace and has recommended approval of said
Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, a draft EIR on the Redevelopment Project has been prepared
in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act and has been
submitted for public comment and review; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given, the Agency and the City
Council of the City of Grand Terrace have he.ld a full and fair public hearing
on said draft EIR and the Redevelopment Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the
City Council of the City of Grand Terrace as follows :
SECTION 1 . A full and fair public hearing having been held on
the draft EIR and the City Council having considered all comments received
thereon, the draft EIR, with public comments and responses thereto incorporated
therein, is hereby approved as the FINAL EIR.
