A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE REGARDING
THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE GRAND TERRACE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND DIRECTING
THE HOLDING OF A JOINT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace (the
"City Council") has received from the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Grand Terrace (the "Agency") its resolution
entitled:
"Resolution of the Community Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Grand Terrace Directing the Holding of a
Joint Agency and City Council Public Hearing on the
First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the
Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project and
Requesting the City Council to Consent to Same. "
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the .City of Grand Terrace
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER as follows :
Section 1. That the proposed First Amendment to the Grand
Terrace Community Redevelopment Plan is generally described as
follows :
An allocation of a portion of the tax
increment generated in the Project Area
to certain affected taxing agencies being
the County of San Bernardino, San
Bernardino County Flood Control District,
San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water
District and Riverside-Corona Resource
Conservation District.
Section 2. That the proposed First Amendment shall not
be subject to review by the Planning Commission, in that, the
-- proposed First Amendment does not affect the General Plan or
any element thereof and does not affect any Specific Plan or
any element thereof of the City of Grand Terrace.
Section 3. That a joint public hearing on the proposed
First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Project ("Redevelopment Plan") is
hereby ordered to be held by the City Council and the Agency
as follows :
Date: February 21, 1980
Time: 6 : 00 p.m.
Place: First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace
12354 Mount Vernon
Grand Terrace, California
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed, in
cooperation with the Secretary of the Agency, to cause notice
of such joint public hearing, substantially in the form
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , to be published once a week for
three (3) successive weeks prior to the hearing.
Section 5. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
copies of the notice of such joint public hearing, together with
said proposed First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan, to be
mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested to the
last known assessee of each parcel of land within the boundaries
of the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project at his last
known address as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of
the County of San Bernardino.
Section 6 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
copies of the notice of such joint public hearing together with

said proposed First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan, -to be
mailed by certified mail with return receipt requested to the
governing body of each of the taxing agencies which levy taxes
upon any property in the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment
Project and to the County of San Bernardino and the California
State Board of Equalization.
Section 7. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
transmit. .a copy of this resolution to the Redevelopment Agency.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City
of Grand Terrace and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Grand Terrace will hold a joint public hearing on the
proposed First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the
Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project at the time and
place specified as follows:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the proposed First Amendment

of any of the prior proceedings for the adoption of said First .

Amendment to appear before the City Council and show cause why
the proposed First Amendment should not be adopted.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the legal description of the
boundaries of the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project
are as recorded in Book 9786, Page 2262 of the Records, County
Recorder, County of San Bernardino, said recordation being
dated October 5, 1979 .
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said proposed First Amendment
and the Report to the City Council prepared pursuant to the
Redevelopment Law on said proposed First Amendment are filed
in the office of the undersigned.
