1980-29 RESOLUTION NO. 80-29
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING THE
CLEAN COMMUNITY SYSTEM, INC. , AS DEVELOPED
BY KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace desires to improve the physical
quality of community life; and
WHEREAS, the expense of collecting and disposing of loose refuse is
an ever-increasing expense to the City; and
WHEREAS, a clean environment contributes to the emotional , physical

a.na- con6mic well-being of our citizens ; and
WHEREAS, the Clean Community System, developed by Keep America Beautiful ,
N. c.'; wJITI assist greatly in reducing the improper handling of waste in our City,
"and-thereby reduce litter;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Grand Terrace hereby endorses the Grand Terrace Clean Community System Inc. , and
supports the participation of the City of Grand Terrace in this System.
ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1980.
