1980-31 RESOLUTION NO. 80-3.1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR PED-
ESTRIAN FACILITIES FUNDS AUTHORIZED UNDER SB 821
AND APPROVING THE ADOPTION -OF ITS PEDESTRIAN -
FACILITIES PLAN.
WHEREAS, SB 821 provides that two percent (2%) of each County's
total local Transportation fund be annually set aside and used to fund the
development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace has planned a pedestrian facili-
ties system in conformance with the adopted general plan and San Bernardino
County standards; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace desires to construct the- pedestrian-- .
facilities system within their City utilizing the funds available-ur"-jer SE-,8 _l :
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace,doei
resolve as follows:
1 . To adopt the pedestrian facilities plan for the southeast side
of Barton Road from Palm Avenue to Preston Street in accordance with the
adopted general plan;
2. To authorize the City Manager as the City's authorized
signature and designated contact person;
3. To apply for all funds available to the City of Grand Terrace
allocated for Bikeways and Pedestrian facilities (SB 821 ) .
