1980-40 RESOLUTION NO. 80- 40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN
THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . . The City Council of the City of Grand Terrace hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2,
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate
a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
Section 2. The City Council does hereby declare its intention--.- --., _.
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street in Rancho Her_mos-o.:
described as follows:
All that portion of Canal Drive as shown on
Map of Hermoso Rancho as per Map recorded in
Book 13 of maps, page 25, records of the J
County of San Bernardino, State of California,
adjoining Lot 17 on the west, lying southerly
of the southerly line of DeBerry Street 66'
wide and lying northerly of the easterly pro-
longation of the southerly line of Tract 9625
as per map recorded in Book 145 of maps, pages
94 and 95, records of said County and State.
Section 3. The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of the portion of a certain street described herein is required by public
interest, convenience, safety, and welfare.
Section 4. A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file. in the office of the City Clerk and available
for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation.
Section 5. The City Council hereby fixes the time, date, and
place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 6:00 p.m. on the 6th
day of November, 1980, in the regular meeting place of the City Council ,
Grand Terrace, California.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be
posted within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in three (3) public
places within said City.
ADOPTED this 16th day of October 1980.
