1981-01 RESOLUTION NO. 81-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING UNIFORM
DATES FOR TERMS OF APPOINTMENT FOR ALL COMMIS-
SIONS, COMMITTEES, AND BOARDS.
WHEREAS, uniformity of dates for terms of appointments to all
Commissions, Committees, and Boards, will establish a more efficient
City policy:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1 . The termination date for appointments to all
Commissions, Committees, and Boards shall -be June 30th of the- termina-
tion year, with subsequent new terms beginning July 1st of that year,
unless otherwise specified by the City Council . Terms of office shall
be staggered so that one-half, or one-half plus one, of the terms of office
for each Commission, Committee, and Board will expire on June 30th of even
numbered years.
ADOPTED this 8th day of January 1981 .
