1981-24 RESOLUTION NO. 81-24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 81-07'. AND AUTHORIZING COUNCIL REPRESENTATION
TO NEGOTIATE A COMPROMISE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITIES AND THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR
ALLOCATION OF THE STATE PARK BOND ACT OF 1980
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, since the adoption of Resolution No. 81-07, recon-
sideration has been given to the stated positions on the State Park Bond
Act of 1980; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it would be beneficial to
all the cities and the County of San Bernardino to resolve the issue of the
disbursement State .Park Bond Act of 1980 funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That Resolution No. 81-07 is hereby rescinded in its
entirety.
SECTION 2. That Mayor Thomas A: Tillinghast - and in his absence,
Councilman Tony Petta - be authorized to negotiate, on behalf of the City
of Grand Terrace, to reach a compromise agreement between the cities and the
County of San Bernardino for allocation of the State Park Bond Act funds;
said compromise to be in the realm of a 50/50 split between the current
position of the County and the cities of San Bernardino County.
