A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE ACCEPTING DOCUMENTS
FROM THE GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY; DIRECTING AND CONSENTING TO A
JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE REVISED GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND DRAFT SUBSEQUENT
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT THEREON; AND
AUTHORIZING NOTICE THEREON
WHEREAS, the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Agency
( "Redevelopment Agency") has heretofore prepared and wishes to
proceed with the adoption of a Redevelopment Plan ( "Plan") for
the Revised Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project
( "Project") , pursuant to the California Community Redevelopment
Law, commencing with Section 33000 of the Health and Safety
Code; and
WHEREAS , the Redevelopment Agency has submitted its Report
on said Plan and said Plan to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency and City Council have
heretofore preliminarily approved a Draft Subsequent Environmental
Impact Report ( "Draft EIR") on said Plan and have heretofore
submitted said Draft EIR for public review and comment, pursuant
to California Environmental Quality Act, commencing with Section
21000 of the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law authorizes
the Redevelopment Agency and City Council to consent to hold a
joint public hearing on said Plan; and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act recommends
a public hearing on the Draft EIR:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand
Terrace does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows :
Section 1. That the above recitals are true and correct.

Section 2 . That the City Council hereby receives and
accepts from the Redevelopment Agency the documents specified as
follows:
(a) Report of the Redevelopment Agency on the Redevelop-
ment Plan for the Revised Grand Terrace Community

Redevelopment Project; and
(b) Redevelopment Plan for the Revised Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Project.
Section 3. That the City Council hereby directs and consents
to a joint public hearing with the Redevelopment Agency on the
documents specified as follows:
(a) Redevelopment Plan for the Revised Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Project; and
(b) Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report on
the Redevelopment Plan for the Revised Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Project.
Section 4. That the City Council further directs that said
joint public hearing be held at the time and place specified as
follows:

Section 5. That the City Clerk, in cooperation with the
Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency, is hereby authorized

given in the time, form and manner required by law.
Section 6 . That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith transmit a copy of this resolution to the
Redevelopment Agency.
Section 7. That the City Clerk is further authorized and
directed to certify to the passage and adoption of this resolu-
tion which shall take effect immediately.
