RESOLUTION NO. 81-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING SENATE
BILL 215 (FORAN) .
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 215 (Foran) provides for realistic and
equitable increases in fees, user charges, and the gas tax (two cents
increase) ; and
WHEREAS, said increases wou;ld, provide immed,fate relief to the
cities and counties within the State of California; and
WHEREAS, roads.with.i.n the State of California. are going into a
state of disrepair; and
WHEREAS, SB 215 is essential to maintain the roads within the
State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
hereby resolves support -for SB 215 (Foran) , and directs the City Clerk
to send a certified copy of this Resolution to Assemblyman Bruce E.
Young, Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Transportation, and a copy
to each Committee member.
ADOPTED this llth day of June, 1981 .
