1982-13 RESOLUTION NO. 82-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING
PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT
BOARD MEMBERS, AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID CITY ON
TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 1982, HERETOFORE CALLED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 81-69.
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, April 13,
1982, has been heretofore called by Resolution No. 81-69, adopted on December
10, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular General
Municipal Election, there shall be and are hereby established three voting
precincts consisting of 11 of the regular Election precincts of the City of
Grand Terrace established for the holding of State and County. elections, as
said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this
Resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the
places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named, being
competent and qualified electors and residents of said City are hereby
appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precincts, and
they shall hold said Election and make return thereof in the manner provided
by law.
Voting Precinct 1. (Comprising regular election precincts-1, 2,�5,
7, and 11.)
Polling Place: Community Center, 22140 Barton Road, Grand-,'Terrace.'-

Voting Precinct 2. (Comprising regular election precincts 3, 4, and
6.)
Polling Place: Azure Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church, 22633 Barton
Road, Grand Terrace.

Judge: Ann Peralta
Clerk: Gene Tidwell
Clerk: Bonnie Stockstad
Voting Precinct 3. (Comprising regular election precincts 8, 9, and
10.) _
Polling Place: Terrace Hills Jr. High School , 22579 DeBerry, Grand
Terrace.
Inspector: Barbara Halvin
Judge: Mary Morden
Clerk: Jann Evans
Clerk: Harriett Beese
Section 2. That the compensation of the persons hereinbefore named as
precinct board members is hereby fixed at the sum of $40.00 for each Inspector
and $35.00 for each Judge and Clerk for said Election. The rental for each of
such polling places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of $30.00 for
said Election.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
Resolutions of said City; and shall make a Minute of passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in
the Minutes of the meeting at which the same is adopted.
