RESOLUTION NO. 86-05
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE
ASSESSMENT OF COST RESULTING FROM THE ABATEMENT OF
- A HAZARDOUS !CONDITION_ BY THE CITY ENGINEER.

WHEREAS, the condition of the structure and of the property being in a
deteriorated state constituted a public nuisance and a hazard to the community
and to the adjacent neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 151of the City of Grand Terrace Municipal Code
provides for the abatement of substandard or unsafe buildings and substandard
property; and
WHEREAS, the property owner of` record was advised by the City Engineer
of the conditions as well as the responsibility for repair according to the
cited code section; and
WHEREAS, the necessary repairs were effected at a cost of $500.00 to
the-City of Grand Terrace;
NOW, THEREFORE, the' City Council of the City of Grand Terrace does
hereby resolve as follows:
- SECTION 1. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a
Notice of Lien against said, property and is to advise the auditor of the
County of San Bernardino, who will record the assessment, and the assessor of
the County of San Bernardino, who will enter the assessment as follows on the
tax roll against said property:
- HAZARD ABATEMENT
