1986-12 RESOLUTION NO. 86- 12, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (GRAND TERRACE ROAD) IN THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, FIXING A TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING FOR ALL PERSONS INTERESTED OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED •VACATION, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION _ AND POSTING PURSUANT TO THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 AS CONTAINED IN SECTION 8300 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. The City ,Council of the City of Grand Terrace does hereby resolve, determine, and declare the following: SECTION '1: That pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and pursuant to Sections 8300. et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council declares intention to vacate a certain portion of an unnamed public road located in the City of Grand Terrace, California and more particularly described as follows: All of that portion of Grand Avenue (Grand Terrace Road) between the westerly right-of-way line of State Route 215 (Riverside Freeway) and the northerly extension of the westerly line of Harlem Avenue (vacated) as said Harlem Avenue is shown on Record .of Survey Book 1, Page 33, Records of San Bernardino County, in the City of Grand Terrace, County of San Bernardino, State of California, saving and excepting access rights for all public utilities. - SECTION 2. That a Hearing is to be conducted on the 27th day of March, -1986, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 22795 Barton - Road, Grand Terrace, California, at which time all persons interested -in or objecting to the proposed vacation will be heard. SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, Notices of said vacation shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed ,to be vacated at least ten days before the date set for the Hearing. Said Notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three shall be posted. Said Notices shall state the passage of this Resolution of Intention, and the time and place of the Hearing . Said Notices shall be posted by the Superintendent of Streets; and thereafter he shall file an affidavit of posting with the City Clerk. SECTION 4. Pursuant to Sections 8320 and 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be posted in three public places established by the City Council and cause the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circul ation.
