RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE TRANSFERRING 0.35 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED AT 22720 VISTA GRANDE WAY TO THE CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE FOR GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSES
PURSUANT TO THE ADOPTED LONG RANGE PROPERTY
MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, on June 9, 2009, the former redevelopment agency appropriated $85,000 to
both purchase the property located at 22720 Vista Grande Way ("Property") and clear the land of
an unfinished residence. The purchase was recommended to both eliminate a public nuisance in
the neighborhood and to provide for open space or a public facility, and use of the land as a dog
agility park was briefly discussed;
WHEREAS, on June 25, 2009, and the Property was acquired by the former
redevelopment agency;
WHEREAS, on January 13, 2012, the property was quitclaimed from the former
redevelopment agency to the Successor Agency to the Community Redevelopment Agency of

the City of Grand Terrace;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34191.5 the Successor Agency
("SA") prepared and submitted a Long-Range Property Management Plan (LRPMP) that
addresses the disposition and use of the real properties of the former redevelopment agency;
WHEREAS,the LRPMP identified disposition of the subject Property to be transferred to
the City of Grand Terrace for governmental purposes;
WHEREAS, on April 24, 2015, the California Department of Finance approved the
Grand Terrace Successor Agency Long Range Property Management Plan, which identified
disposition of the subject Property to be transferred to the City of Grand Terrace for
governmental purposes;
'WHEREAS, the Property, with Assessor's Parcel Number 0276-462-10,-is'an asset of the
Successor Agency. (Attached is Exhibit"l" further describing the Property);_and_-
WHEREAS,the City desires to receive the Property from the Successor Agency-so that-it
may continue to use the Property for its valid governmental purpose.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF-DIRECTORS OF
THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Board of Directors of the Successor Agency finds that all of the above
recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The Board of Directors of the Successor Agency finds that the Property is
an asset of the Successor Agency that was acquired for a valid governmental purpose of a park.
Section 3. On April 24, 2015, the California Department of Finance approved the
Grand Terrace Successor Agency Long Range Property Management Plan, which identified
disposition of the subject Property to be transferred to the City of Grand Terrace for
governmental purposes.
Section 4. . Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34191.3 the approved Long
Range Property Management Plan shall govern and supersede all other provisions relating to, the
disposition and use of all the real property assets of the former redevelopment agency.
Section 5. The Board of Directors of the Successor Agency further directs and
authorizes the Executive Director to take all necessary and required actions to complete the
transfer of the Property, identified in Exhibit 1, attached herein, to the City of Grand Terrace for
governmental purposes.
Section 6. The, Board of Directors of the Successor Agency hereby authorizes the
Executive Director to take all other actions necessary and required to carry out this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Successor
Agency for the Grand Terrace Redevelopment Agency at a regular meeting held on the 14t' day
of July, 2015.
