1995-01 RESOLUTION NO. CRA 95-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE,
CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING THE ACQUISITION OF
CERTAIN TAX-DEFAULTED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Grand
Terrace (hereinafter "Agency") has been informed by the County of San Bernardino
that certain tax-defaulted parcels are being offered for sale at public bid; and
WHEREAS, the Agency desires to acquire one of those parcels, specifically,
Assessor's Parcel Number 275-242-10 valued at $7,210.74.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1 . That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That the Agency hereby objects to the public sale of Assessor's Parcel
Number 275-242-10, more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
3. That Agency hereby offers to enter into a Purchase Agreement with the
County of San Bernardino, pursuant to Chapter 8 of the California Revenue and
Taxation Code to purchase Parcel Number 275-242-10. Agency agrees to pay for the
legal notice of said sale to be published in the San Bernardino Sun, pursuant to
Section 3793.6(a) of the California Revenue and Taxation Code. Agency further
agrees that it will be responsible for said publication costs should the property be
redeemed after the first publication nullifying the agreement to purchase and further
for the payment of one hundred dollars ($100) per lot book required pursuant to
Section 3799 of the aforesaid Code.
4. The Agency intends to put the subject property to a public use
specifically, commercial redevelopment/potential public facility.
