A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN
APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT' (HCD) FOR FUNDING UNDER THE
CALHOME PROGRAM (THE "PROGRAM") AND THE
EXECUTION OF THE STANDARD AGREEMENT, ANY
AMENDMENTS THERETO,AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS
REQUIRED BY HCD FOR, PARTICIPATION UNDER THE
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Grand Terrace
(the"Agency")is a public body corporate and politic,organized and existing pursuantto the
Community Redevelopment Law (California Health and Safety Code Section 33000,
et.seq.); and
WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to carry out housing programs and projects
within the City of Grand Terrace, and in the interest of preserving the affordable mobile
home housing stock within the City of Grand Terrace, the Agency wishes to apply for and
receive an allocation of funds in the total amount of $500,000 through the State of
California Department of Housing and Community Development(HCD)CalHome Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Grand Terrace as follows:
Section 1. The Agency hereby authorizes the submittal to HCD an application to
participate in the CalHome Program in response to the Notice of Funding Availability
(NOFA) issued on or about August 2001, which will request a funding allocation for the
following activities:
Activity - Rehabilitation/Replacement of substandard manufactured
housing/mobile home units
Amount - $$500,000
Activity Location - City of Grand Terrace, California
Section 2. The Agency hereby agrees that should the application for funding be
approved by HCD, the Agency hereby agrees to use the CalHome funds for eligible
activities in the manner presented in the application, as approved by HCD, and in
accordance with the CalHome Program Guidelines and/or Program Regulations.
Section 3. The Community Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes the
Executive Director of the Agency to execute in the name of the Redevelopment Agency of
a

Program.
