RESOLUTION NO. CRA-79-9
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE ESTAB-
LISHING BASE YEAR FOR ALLOCATION OF TAXES
AND DIRECTING THAT' VARIOUS TRANSMITTALS BE
MADE AND CONSULTATIONS BE HELD 'ON THE REDEVE-
LOPMENT PLAN' FOR THE GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
OF A FILING FEE TO THE STATE BOARD OF EQUALI-
ZATION
WHEREAS, the staff of the Community Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Grand Terrace (the "Agency") has prepared the
Redevelopment Plan for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment
.Project; and
WHEREAS, the base year for taxes allocated pursuant to
Section 33670 of the Health and Safety Code proposed to be
used for the purposes of said Project is the 1979-80 tax year;
said taxes to be remitted by the County of San Bernardino
(the "County") and received by the Agency under the Community
Redevelopment Law of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the staff of the Agency will-prepare a Report
regarding said allocation of taxes to the City Council to
accompany the Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of
California provides for the making of certain transmittals.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Grand Terrace hereby resolves, determines and orders
as follows:
Section 1. The Secretary of the Agency is hereby directed
to make the transmittals required by Health and Safety Code Section
33327 and is hereby further authorized and directed to cause the
transmittals required by Health and Safety Code Section 33353.4.
Section 2. The staff of the Agency is hereby authorized
and directed to begin preparation and complete the Report to the
City Council as the information and reports to be included therein
become available, and to have said Report available for inspection
at such time as the Notice of Joint Public Hearing on the Amend-
ments to the Redevelopment Plan is published.
Section 3. The Executive Director, or such other City
official as may be appropriate in the circumstances, is hereby
authorized and directed to consult with each taxing agency which
levies taxes in the Project Area of the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Project, with respect. to said Redevelopment Plan.
Section 4. The Agency staff is hereby directed and authorized
to begin preparation of the Initial Study, and to take all steps
necessary to proceed with the preparation of documents related
thereto in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act of 1970 and the Guidelines promulgated thereunder.
