A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF'THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DIRECTING
THE HOLDING OF A JOINT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
THE GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AND REQUESTING THE CITY COUNCIL TO
CONSENT TO SAME
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Grand Terrace (the "Agency") wishes to proceed with the adoption
of the Redevelopment Plan for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment
Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") in accordance with Section
33360, et sue., of the Health and Safety Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, the law requires that a hearing 'be.held on the
proposed Redevelopment Plan and that notice thereof be published
in the prescribed manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the-
City of Grand Terrace does hereby resolve, determine and order
as follows:
Section 1. That a joint public hearing with the City Council
of the City of Grand Terrace be held on the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Plan:
Date: l September 20, 1979
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Place: First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace
12354 Mount Vernon
Grand Terrace, California
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
be requested to meet jointly and hold such heating with the Agency
on the date and time and at the place set forth in Section 1.
Section 3. The Secretary of the Agency is hereby authorized
and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the City Council
of the City of Grand Terrace.
Section 4. The Secretary of the Agency,is hereby directed,
in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City of Grand Terrace,
to cause notice of such joint public hearing on said Redevelopment
Plan to be published once a week for four" (4) successive weeks
prior to said joint public hearing.
Section 5. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby
directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City of Grand
Terrace, to cause copies of said notice of such joint public hear-
ing, together with the Redevelopment Plan, to be mailed by certified
mail with return receipt requested to the last known assessee of
each parcel of land within the boundaries of the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Project at his last known address as shown on the
last equalized assessment roll of the County.
Section 6. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby
directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City of Grand
Terrace, to cause copies of the notice of such joint public hearing
together with the Redevelopment Plan to be -mailed by certified mail
with return, receipt requested to the governing body of each of the
taxing agencies which levy taxes upon any property within the boundaries
of the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project and to the County
of San Bernardino and the California State Board of Equalization.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1979.
