A RESOLUTION OF .THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DIRECTING
THE HOLDING OF A JOINT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE GRAND TERRACE COM-
MUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND REQUESTING
THE CITY COUNCIL TO CONSENT TO' SAME
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Grand Terrace previously approved the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Plan (the "Redevelopment Plan") and recommended
its adoption to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
adopted the Redevelopment Plan on September 27 , 1979 ; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Grand Terrace (the "Agency") now wishes to proceed with
the adoption of the First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan
for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project in accord-
ance with Section 33450 , et seq. , of the Health and Safety Code
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the law requires that a hearing be held on the
proposed First Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and that
notice thereof be published in the prescribed manner:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Grand Terrace does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows :
Section 1. That the First Amendment to the Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Plan is generally described as follows:
An allocation of a portion of the tax
increment generated in the Project Area
to certain affected taxing agencies being
the County of San Bernardino, San
Bernardino County Flood Control District,
San Bernardino Valley Municipal eater
District and Riverside-Corona Resource
Conservation District.
Section 2. That a joint public hearing with the City
Council of the City of Grand Terrace be held on the First
Amendment to the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Plan:
Date: February 21, 1980
Time: 6 : 00 P.M.
Place: First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace
12354 Mount Vernon
Grand Terrace, California
Section 3. That the City Council of the City of Grand
Terrace be requested to meet jointly and hold such hearing with
the :Agency on the date and .time and at the place set forth in
Section 2.
Section 4. That the Secretary of the Agency is hereby
authorized and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution
to the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace.
Section 5. That the Secretary of the Agency is hereby
directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City of
Grand Terrace, to cause notice of such joint public hearing on
said First Amendment to be published once a week for three (3)
successive weeks prior to said joint public hearing.
Section 6.. That the Executive Director of the Agency
is hereby directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the
City of Grand Terrace, to cause copies of said notice of such
joint public hearing, together with said First Amendment, to

be published once a week for three (3) successive weeks prior
to said joint public hearing.
Section 6 . That the Executive Director of the Agency is
hereby directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City
of Grand Terrace, to cause copies of said notice of such joint
public hearing, together with said First Amendment, to be mailed
by certified mail with return receipt requested to the last
known assessee of each parcel of land within the boundaries of
the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project at his last
known address as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of
the County.
Section 7. That the Executive Director of the Agency is
hereby directed, in cooperation with the City Clerk of the City
of Grand Terrace, to cause copies of the notice of such joint
public hearing together with said First Amendment to be mailed
by certified mail with return. receipt requested to the governing
body of each of the taxing agencies which levy taxes upon any
property within the boundaries of the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Project and to the County of San Bernardino and the
California State Board of Equalization.
