RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING
A COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR PROPOSED
PROJECT AREA NO. 2
WHEREAS, this Redevelopment Agency is considering a re-
development project to finance construction of commercial and/
or residential structures within the City of Grand Terrace,
hereinafter called "Redevelopment Project No. 2" ; and
WHEREAS, at this time this Redevelopment Agency desires
to establish a community advisory committee composed of
interested persons representing a cross-section of the entire
community; and
WHEREAS , this Redevelopment Agency desires to consult with
and obtain advice from said community advisory committee con-
cerning the boundaries of and planning for Redevelopment Project
No. 2 .
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Grand Terrace does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows :
Section 1. That the above recitals are all true and
correct.
Section 2 . That there is hereby established a community
advisory committee created for the purpose of consultation
and advice as to the boundaries of and planning for Redevelop-
ment Project No. 2 as well as any other matters incident there-
to.
Section 3. That said community advisory committee shall
be composed of not less than ten persons, who shall be either
residents and/or property owners within the City of Grand Terrace.
Section 4 . That the names of the, persons designated to
serve on said community advisory committee are ' set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 5 . That said community advisory committee is
encouraged to function in accordance with the guidelines
specified as follows:
(a) 1The committee shall conduct its affairs in
accordance with Roberts Rules of Order to
the extent practicable;
(b) The committee shall elect appropriate officers
for the . conduct of its affairs;
(c) The members of the committee shall serve at
the ple-asure'of the Redevelopment Agency;
(d) A majority of the members of the committee shall
constitute a quorum;
(e) Recommendations of the committee shall be
approved by a majority of the quorum; however,
the committee may also reflect any appropriate
minority positions;
(f) The members of the committee shall serve without
compensation;
(g) The committee shall meet from time to time to
study, plan, and make recommendations on

Redevelopment Project No. 2 ;
(h) The committee or subcommittees thereof shall,
from time to time, consult with the staff and
consultants of the Redevelopment Agency; and
(i) The chairman or other designated representatives
of the committee shall make its reports to the
Redevelopment Agency.
Section 6 . That the Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes
and directs its staff .and consultants to render all reasonable
assistance to the community advisory committee.
