AUGUST 21, 2018 MINUTES — SPECIAL MEETING

Item 1: The meeting was called to order at 5:09 p.m. by Chairman Tickner.
Item 2a: The meeting Agenda for August 21, 2018 was approved.
Item 2b: The minutes for the July 17, 2018 special meeting were approved.
Item 2c: Continue, CERT Organization
• Discussion of bylaws. A Committee meeting was scheduled for September 6,
2018. The bylaws members include Chairman Tickner, Resident Allen and
Resident Oberlies. The regular September 4th meeting was cancelled, and a
special meeting was scheduled for September 11, 2018. The Committee will
present the bylaws draft to the EOC volunteer group before going to the City
Council on October 9,2018.
• Resident Giroux announced Grand Terrace Family Picnic and Car Show has
been scheduled for October 13, 2018, at Terrace View Elementary and
recommends having a CERT booth at the event.
Item 2d: Inventory Equipment and Materials
• The shed inventory has been pushed to October (date to be determined) when
the weather is cooler.
Item 2e: 'Movies and Music in the Park'
• A reminder was announced for the volunteers.
Item 2f. Radio Station AM 1640
• The City is working to coordinate radio streaming on the City's website.
Item 3: Next regular meeting date scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, 2018, has been
cancelled and a special meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
Item 4: The meeting was adjourned at 5:48 p.m.
