AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR PLANNING
SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE AND J.H. DOUGLAS, AND
ASSOCIATES
THIS AMENDMENT ("Amendment No. 1") Is made and by and between the CITY OF
GRAND 'TERRACE ("Cit/'), a Municipal Corporation, and J,H. irDOUGLAS AND ASSOCIATES
("Consultant").
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant entered Into an.Agreement for planning
services("Agreement"), on or about March 28, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement authorized the City Manager to extend the contract for a
period not to exceed a period of six months„ and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to Amend Section 2 (Term) of the Agreement to extend the
term of the agreement by an additional six months to March 30, 2018; and
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and for other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto
agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
Sgctjon 1. Section 2 of the Agreement Is hereby amended to read as follows;
TERM OF AGREEMENT, This Agreement shall be extended and shall remain In effect until
March 30, 2018, unless otherwise terminated pursuant to the provisions herein.
S*c112n 2,All other terms, provisions, and conditions of the Agreement, to the extent not
modified by this Amendment No. 1, shall remain In full force and effect.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment Number 1 to
be executed by and through their respective .authorized officers, as of the date first above
