MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
FEBRUARY 3, 1994
The regular meeting of the Grand Terrace Planning Commission was called to order at the
Grand Terrace Civic Center, 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, California on February
3, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Dan Buchanan.

Moire Huss, Commissioner
Ray Munson, Commissioner

Doug Wilson, Commissioner
Joann Lombardo, Interim Community Development Director
Maria C. Muett, Associate Planner
Maggie Alford, Planning Secretary
Larry Mainez, Planning Technician
ABSENT: Jim Sims, Vice -Chairman
PLEDGE: Doug Wilson, Commissioner
CONVENED PUBLIC WORKSHOP SESSION AT 6:37 P.M.
Commissioner Wilson and the Interim Community Development Director
came to the conclusion that a alternate General Plan Task Force member
would not be necessary due to Commissioner Wilson's commitment.
Planning Technician Larry Mainez discussed the Air Quality Workshop and
video.
The Interim Community Development Director stated that the City Council
approved a 90 day sign moratorium.
Chairman Buchanan asked the status of Pico Park.
The Associate Planner said they are looking at a March ribbon cutting.

minutes. Commissioner Addington seconded.
Motion carries. 5-0-1-1. Vice -Chairman Sims absent. Chairman Buchanan
abstained.

AN APPLICATION FOR A PERMANENT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A
MODULAR OFFICE UNIT ON A PERMANENT BASIS, FOR A LARGE SCALE UTILITY
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, AND AN ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW AS REQUIRED
IN THE MR ZONE DISTRICT (INDUSTRIAL).

Commissioner Munson made a motion to continue CUP-93-07 and E-93-16
to the March 17, 1994 Planning Commission Meeting. Commissioner Wilson
seconded.
Commissioner Addington asked for the history of this project and why they
keep requesting continuance.

permanent water service and quit claim deed.
