and Architectural Review Board at 6:30 p.m.

B. WORKSHOP
3. Site and Architectural Review 14-06-A2 and Environmental 14-03-A2, Construction of a
Single-Family Residence and Accessory Dwelling Unit
Vice Chair Tara Cesena announced that due to the lack of a quorum, Site and
Architectural Review 14-06-A2 and Environmental 14-03-A2, Construction of a Single-
Family Residence and Accessory Dwelling Unit will. be continued to the October 18,
2018 Planning Commission and Site and Architectural Review Board meeting.
1) CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING, AND
2) ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION/SITE AND
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE,
CALIFORNIA ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL EXEMPTION PURSUANT TO THE
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT AND APPROVING SITE AND
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW 14-06-A2 TO CONSTRUCT A SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENCE AND AN ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT ON A PARCEL LOCATED AT
11832 BURNS AVENUE (APN: 0275-282-14)

C. INFORMATION TO COMMISSIONERS
Sandra Molina, Planning and Development Services Director informed the Planning
Commission that the City Council has contracted with a new legal firm and that their
contract date is effective October 10, 2018. Director Molina also reminded the Planning
Commission that the 40th Anniversary Family Picnic & Car Show will be held on
Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
D. INFORMATION FROM COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Giroux expressed his concern of Grand Terrace Lane by design was
going to invite street racing. He asked if there were any discussions with the contractor
from the west bound Grand Terrace Lane out to Grand Terrace Road for an end
treatment, such as warning signs to help prevent racing.
Commissioner McConnell added that he is also concerned about the safety issues in
the area and would like to have them addressed.
Director Molina stated she will forward the Commissioners'_ concerns to Alan French,
Public Works Director and request that he attend the next meeting or call the
Commissioners directly to address their concerns.

Vice Chair Tara Cesena adjourned the Site and Architectural Review Board/Planning
Commission meeting at 6:39 p.m. The Next Site and Architectural Review
Board/Planning Commission meeting will be held on October 18, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
