CITY OF GRAND TERRACE
JULY 19, 1979
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission, City of Grand Terrace, was held
in the First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace, 12354 Mt. Vernon, Grand Terrace,
California, on July 19, 1979 at 6:07 P.M.
PRESENT: Commissioners: Tony Petta; Thomas A. Tillinghast; Doug Erway; Jack
Allen
Staff: Seth Armstead, City Manager; Ivan Hopkins, City
Attorney; Joe Kicak, City Engineer; Myrna Lindahl,
Executive Secretary/Deputy City Clerk
ABSENT: Commissioner Grant
1. Extension Request - Tentative Tract 9359
Proposal: Request to extend tentative tract, containing 33 lots
for one year to expire on July 20, 1980.
Location: Extending between Mt. Vernon & Canal St. approx. 1320
ft. north of Barton Road
Applicant: Karger Construction
Following staff report by Doug Payne, San Bernardino County
Planning Department, Motion was made by Commissioner Allen,
seconded by Commissioner Erway and carried unanimously to approve
a one year extension for Tentative Tract 9359, to July 20, 1980.
2. Planning Commission Minutes of July 5, May 17 and June 7, 1979
Motion was made by Commissioner Erway and seconded by Commissioner
Allen to approve the Planning Commission Minutes of July 5, 1979.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tillinghast to amend Commissioner
Erway's motion to include the Planning Commission Minutes of May 17
and June 7, 1979, seconded by Commissioner Allen. The Motion to amend
carried unanimously.
Question was called on the Amended Motion, and carried unanimously.

ADJOURN Motion was made by Commissioner Tillinghast, seconded by Commissioner
Allen and carried unanimously to adjourn the Planning Commission to
July 26, 1979 at 6:00 p.m.
Planning Commission adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
