SEPTEMBER 6, 1979
A Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, City of Grand Terrace, was held in the
First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace, 12354 Mt. Vernon, Grand Terrace, California,
on September 6, 1979 at 6:10 P.M.
PRESENT: Commissioners: Tony Petta; Thomas A. Tillinghast; Doug Erway;
Jack Allen; Hugh J. Grant
Staff: Seth Armstead, City Manager; Joe Kicak, City Engineer;
Ivan Hopkins, City Attorney; Myrna Lindahl, Executive
Secretary/Deputy City Clerk
ABSENT: None
MINUTES, PLANNING COMMISSION - August 16, 1979
MOTION by Commissioner Erway, seconded by Commissioner Allen,
and carried unanimously to approve the Planning Commission Minutes
of August 16, 1979, as presented.
EXTENSION REQUEST - TENTATIVE TRACTS 9951 and 10397
Proposal: Request to extend conditional approval for one year
to expire August 17, 1980, on the following tracts:
Tentative Tract 9951: 16 lots on 9.2 acres; north side of Pico,
approx. 1900' east of Mt. Vernon Avenue.
Tentative Tract 10397: 11 lots on 3 acres; north side of DeBerry,
extending between Mt. Vernon & Gage Canal St.
Applicant: Karger Construction Company
Engineer: W. J. McKeever, Inc.
Following staff report by Gil Haro, Associate Planner, San Bernardino
County Planning Department, MOTION was made by Commissioner Allen,
seconded by Commissioner Erway and carried unanimously to approve
the extension request for Tentative Tracts 9951 and 10397 for one
year to expire August 17, 1980.

Allen and carried unanimously to adjourn the Planning Commission
Meeting at 6:18 p.m.
