A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, RECEIVING AND ACCEPTING THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL PROGRESS
REPORT FOR THE 2018 CALENDAR YEAR
Recitals
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65400(2) requires the planning
agency to provide an annual report to the City Council, the State Office of Planning and
Research, and the California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) regarding progress toward implementation of the housing element of the general
plan; and
WHEREAS, planning staff has prepared an annual progress report for the 2018
calendar year, utilizing the prescribed forms and instructions provided by HCD; and
WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have
occurred.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined, and resolved by the City
Council of the City of Grand Terrace, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in
the above Recitals, are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby receives and accepts the 2018 Annual Progress
Report on the General Plan Housing Element (Housing Element Annual
Progress Report Form 2018) (Report) prepared by planning staff.
3. The City Council hereby directs that the Report be forwarded to the State
Office of Planning and Research and HCD pursuant to Government Code
Section 65400(2).
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Grand
Terrace at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of March 2019.
