Mayor Pro Tem Bill HusseyOn January 26, 2021, Mayor Pro Tem Bill Hussey attended the San Bernardino County
Homeless Partnership 1st Quarterly meeting.
The Homeless Partnership was formed in September of 2007 to provide a more focused
approach to the goal of ending homelessness within the County. The Partnership consists
of city governments, community based organizations, faith -based organizations,
educational institutes, non-profit organizations, private industry and federal state, and
local government.
The Homeless Partnership was developed to promote a strong collaboration between
agencies to direct the planning development and implementation of the County's 10 -ear-
plan to end chronic homelessness. Its mission is to provide a system of care that is
inclusive, well-planned, coordinated and evaluated and is accessible to all who are
homeless and those at-risk of becoming homeless.
The Homeless Partnership held discussion on the following:
• Family Assistance Program TAY Program presented by Levi Deathridge.
• Victor Valley Family Resource Center presented by Leslie Earl.
• Vaccines for the Essential Services Providers (housing providers) presented by
Chief Tom Hernandez.
