31 ORDINANCE NO. 31
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FIRST
AMENDMENT TO THE GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1979, the City Council of the
City of Grand Terrace enacted Ordinance No. 25 adopting a
redevelopment plan entitled "Redevelopment Plan for the Grand
Terrace Community Redevelopment Project" ("Redevelopment
Plan") ; and
WHEREAS, it appears desirable to amend said Redevelopment
Plan to provide for an allocation of a portion of the tax
increment to certain affected taxing agencies, said proposed
amendment being entitled "First Amendment to Redevelopment
Plan for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project"
("First Amendment to Redevelopment Plan") ; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Grand Terrace ("Agency") has undertaken consideration and
has recommended approval of said "First Amendment to Redevelop-
ment Plan" ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on
said "First Amendment to Redevelopment Plan" :
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the above recitals are all true and
correct.
Section 2. That said "First Amendment to Redevelopment
Plan" is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" .
Section 3. That the City Council does hereby find and
determine as follows:
(a) That the public hearing on said "First Amendment
to Redevelopment Plan" has been noticed, held
and conducted in the time, form and manner
required by law.
(b) That adoption of said "First Amendment to the
Redevelopment Plan" is necessary in order to
minimize the financial impacts upon certain
affected taxing agencies within the Project
Area.
Section 3. That the City Council does hereby approve
and adopt said "First Amendment to Redevelopment Plan" .
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to record and transmit said "First Amendment to
Redevelopment Plan") in accordance with the provisions of
Section 33456 and 33457 of the Health and Safety Code.
Section 5. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordi-
nance to be posted within fifteen (15) days after its adoption
in three (3) public places within the City.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 6th day of March , 1980,
and finally adopted and ordered posted at a regular meeting
of said City Council on the 20th day of March ,
1980.
