45 ORDINANCE NO. 45
AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING
ORDINANCES NOS. 21 AND 2 AND ESTABLISHING THE
PLACE FOR INTERIM MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace has
determined that there is a need to rescind and replace the existing
Ordinance No. 21 and Ordinance No. 2;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1 . Rescission - Ordinance No. 21 and Ordinance No. 2
are hereby rescinded in their entirety effective March 1 , 1981 .
SECTION 2. That until further notice, effective March 1 , 1981 ,
all meetings of the City Council shall be held at the Terrace View Ele-
mentary School , 22731 Grand Terrace Road, Grand Terrace, California.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance is adopted as an urgency measure by
the affirmative vote of four-fifths of the City Council at a meeting
duly called and held; and that, pursuant to Section 36937(b) of the
Government Code, this Ordinance shall take effect March 1 , 1981 , to
enable the City of Grand Terrace to secure the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health, and safety by allowing the City of Grand
Terrace to continue performance of its functions.
