90 ORDINANCE NO. 90
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE GRAND
TERRACE MUNICIPAL CODE, CHAPTER 2.16, DEALING WITH
THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE PLANNING COMMISSION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment - Chapter 2.16 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Chapter 2.16
Sections:
2.16.010 Planning Agency-- Establishment.
2.16.020 Composition--Terms.
2.16.030 Removal .
2.16.040 Chairman and Vice Chairman.
2.16.010 Planning Agency--Establishment. Pursuant to
Government Code Section 65100, the City Council establishes a Planning
Commission and designates the Planning Commission as the Planning Agency of
the City.
2.16.020 Composition--Terms. The Planning Commission shall
be composed of seven members appointe y t e City Council . Four members'
terms shall expire on 6/14/85, and three members' terms shall expire on
6/14/87. Thereafter, all terms of members shall be four years.
2.16.030 Removal . All members of the Planning Commission
shall serve at the p easure o t e City Council and may be removed at any
time, with or without cause.
2.16.040 Chairman and Vice Chairman. The Planning
Commission, at its first meeting next o owing une 14th of each year, shall
select one of its members to serve as Chairman and one of its members to serve
as Vice Chairman."
Section 2. Interim Membership - Until a vacancy next occurs on the
Planning Commission or as of June 14, 1985, whichever date first occurs, the
current Planning Commissioners shall continue to serve on the Planning
Commission. Thereafter, the City Council shall , by appointment and by
designation of terms of office, provide for membership in accordance with
Section 2.16.020 hereof.
Section 3. Effective Date - This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect at 12.01 a.m. on the st ay after its adoption.
Section 4. Posting - The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be
posted in three (3) public lacesdesignated for such purpose by the City
■r' Council .
Section 5. First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 27th day of June 27, 1985, and finally adopted and e
ordered posted at a regular meeting of said City Council on the 11th day of
July 1985.

City Council of the City of Grand Terrace held on the 11th day of July
