Council Member Doug WilsonOn April 8, 2021, Council Member Doug Wilson attended the San Bernardino Valley
Water Municipal District’s Advisory Commission on Water Policy meeting and discussed
the following:
• A presentation of on the Integrated Regional Urban Water Management Plan
(IRUWMP)
o Agency participation and deadlines
o Workshops have been held to illustrate the common goals
o Water quality, reliability, flood management, habitat preservation from
2015 and came out with a report card for the various agencies involved
o Third workshop talked about population projections; 10% lower growth per
SCAG
o Demand estimate was pretty close; set up from 2020 -2045 and is on track.
o Fourth workshop talked about goals, objectives, projects and plans and
will finalize the budgets and prioritize projects

o Special Meeting May 20, 2021
o Regular meeting July 15, 2021
• Consider Support of SBVWCD Proposed Groundwater Charge Sustainability
Component for Non-Groundwater Council Participants
• Consider Support for Valley district’s Purchase of Water Available in 2021 from
the Yuba Accord
• Consider Support for Proposed Valley District Agreement to Continue Recharge
in San Bernardino County Flood Control Facilities
