RESOLUTION OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF GRAND TERRACE AMENDING ITS LONG RANGE
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN BY CHANGING THE
PROPERTY DISPOSITION DESIGNATION OF A
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 22747 BARTON ROAD IN THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE (APN 0276-202-54) FROM
LIQUIDATION TO GOVERNMENTAL USE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section ("HSC") 34173(d), the
Successor Agency to the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Grand
Terrace is the successor agency ("Successor Agency") to the former Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Grand Terrace ("RDA"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to HSC 34191.5(c), the Successor Agency prepared and
filed with the California Department of Finance ("DOF") its oversight board-approved Long
Range Property Management Plan ("LRPMP"); and
WHEREAS, the LRPMP governs the disposition of all real property of the RDA that
is held by the Successor Agency due to the dissolution of the RDA; and
WHEREAS, the LRPMP includes a property located at 22747 Barton Road in the
City of Grand Terrace (APN 0276-202-54), which is currently designated as "liquidation
development" ("Property"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace desires to purchase and utilize the property
for the potential public use of either a library or community center; and
WHEREAS, based on the forgoing, the Successor Agency desires that the San
Bernardino Countywide Oversight Board ("CWOB") change the property disposition
designation of the Property from "liquidation" to "governmental use" pursuant to HSC
34181(a); and
WHEREAS, by selling the Property to the City of Grand Terrace, the Successor
Agency will be able to dissolve pursuant to HSC 34187; and
WHEREAS, the change proposed by this Resolution for the property disposition
designation for the Property is subject to the approval of the CWOB and the DOF.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
