CITY OF GRAND TERRACE
APRIL 14, 1980
A Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission , City of Grand Terrace, was held
in the First Baptist Church of Grand Terrace, 12354 Mt. Vernon, Grand Terrace,
California, on April 14, 1980 at 6:33 p.m.
PRESENT: Frank Tetley, Chairman
Sandy Collins, Vice Chairman
Vern Andress, Commissioner
Winifred Bartel , Commissioner
William DeBenedet, Commissioner
John McDowell , Commissioner
Tom Rivera, Commissioner
Martine Gerg, Secretary
ABSENT: Ron Schuster, Commissioner
Lloyd Watson, Commissioner
The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Commissioner Rivera,
and oral roll call .
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MARCH 24, 1980
Corrections were made as follows: Page Three under PCM-80-28, the
Motion was amended to show Commissioner Bartel as having seconded
the Motion; Page Five, last paragraph , the Motion was changed to
read: "Motion was made by Commissioner Collins and seconded by
Commissioner Watson that the matter be tabled until a future date
for architectural study."
PCM-80-33 MOTION was made by Commissioner McDowell , seconded by Commissioner
Collins and carried unanimously to approve the Minutes of March 24,
1980 as amended.
Chairman Tetley asked if there were any items to be brought before
the Commission.
Mr. Marshal Otsea, 8851 Atlanta, Huntington Beach , asked if the City
of Grand Terrace has had, or plans to have , a study on the housing
needs of Grand Terrace.
Discussion was held among the Commissioners and Mr. Otsea was told
that if he would bring in some specific proposals , the Commission
would consider them.

ADJOURN TO PUBLIC WORK SESSION
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission adjourned to Public
Work Session at 6:55 p.m. The Public Work Session adjourned at
9 :40 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission
will be held on Monday, April 28, 1980 at 6:30 p.m.
