CDBG PROGRAM Benefit low- moderate income communities 4 projects may be funded Use of unprogrammed funds Expected Allocation = $55,015 2024-25 ELIGIBLE APPLICATIONS APPLICANT PROJECT SB County –GT Library Adult Literacy Program Family Services Association Senior Nutrition Family Services Association Senior Center Coordinator 2024-25 FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS Priority Applicant Project Funding Requested Funding Recommendation Unprogrammed Funds 1 SB County – GT Library Adult Literacy Program $10,000 $10,000 2 Family Services Association Senior Nutrition Program $10,000 $10,000 3 Family Services Association Senior Center Coordinator $70,000 $36,020 $34,985 Total Requested and Recommended $90,000 RECOMMENDATION Conduct a public hearing for the recommendation of eligible applications for the 2024-25 project year; and Prioritize funding allocations and authorize staff to submit the City's CDBG funding recommendation to the San Bernardino County Economic Development Agency CDBG FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE 2024-25 PROGRAM YEAR City Council Meeting February 13, 2024
